Desire makes a terrible compass
Some of the best lessons arrive disguised as loss. The hardest part of faith is accepting how much life refuses to explain itself. Anyone can be grateful when nothing feels missing. The deeper work begins when nothing arrives.
Why is that?
Becoming a better person has nothing to do with finding all the right answers. It’s becoming someone who can live wisely without them. Trust what leaves you without chasing it.
Maturity begins when you stop treating every closed door like an injustice. Sometimes mercy isn’t what God gives you. It’s in the future he quietly refuses to let you have. Most desires cost more than they give.
So be careful believing everything you want is meant for you. Wanting something so deeply doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Loving someone completely doesn’t mean they’re right for you. Loneliness can make the wrong person feel right. Let me repeat that:

Know this: You are still becoming. So is the life you keep judging too early. Growing spiritually is learning the difference between what you feel and what deserves to guide you. Give yourself enough grace to remain unfinished, enough wisdom to question what you desire, and enough faith to leave some mysteries unanswered.
